Reasons why facebook should be shutdown?

Facebook just makes me sad. I feel like a lot of people i knew/ know are stuck in life because of things like fb. It's always a competition to see who goes out more, who has the most interesting photos, who has more comments/likes, who goes to parties and get drunk every weekend etc. Now that's all they care about. I thought popularity stopped after highschool!! NO! because facebook has created a new way to test popularity. The popularity on fb is more superficial than high school popularity. We only get to see the side people want us to see on fb. People don't actually get to experience human beings in person anymore. It's so bad. I wonder if fb never existed would most of us be more successful and more in tune with our true self.

It shouldn't shutdown just because some people don't like it. If people want to delude themselves into thinking they are all that for having the most likes, friends, and all that then fine!

If your argument involves how people can use the internet to attack others, scam, and so on. Guess what? Facebook isn't the only site to do so! In general, anyone with access to the internet can do all kinds of stuff. You just have to be careful.
