No, those things don't work, but you can go 'like' game pages like the sims & FarmVille & ask people on those pages to add you for the games & get a ton of friends that way.

first off, why would you want a bunch of random people added to your profile? that just leads to getting hacked and spammed

unless you are breaking the rules by trying to create a fake account, which is against the rules, and facebook will be able to detect you doing this, and will suspend your account for breaking the rules
