What exactly does it mean?
An article about Facebook Graph Search says 'boosting the "discoverability" of content can remove the cover of obscurity as a privacy safety net, opening the way for exploitation by snoopers and stalkers.'
What exactly does it mean by this? Please, no silly answers. I just want a better understanding. Thank you. x Ads |

Many things is this world are secure/safe, simply because people don't know about them - this is security through obscurity.
Boosting the "discoverabilty" means making it less obscure, bring it to the foreground where it is more likely to be found by anyone, particularly stalkers and snoopers. By remaining a position "below the radar" you aren't noticed by the scum puppies and are therefore safe. Ads |
