iPhone memory issue after recording video via Facebook app?

I have an iPhone 4S and have only 8 GB of memory. I made a 13 minute video via the Facebook app on a group page. I stopped recording and then accidentally quit out of the app (by double clicking the home button and then "x"-ing out the Facebook app) before the video could finish processing. Usually, a video, depending on how long the video is, will take at least a minute to finalize and show up in my photo roll. After it shows up, I click it and upload it directly through the Facebook app.

I had a strong wi-fi connection and had enough memory. I started with about 440 MB and was left with about 10 MB after the video. Since I quit the app before the video could process and show up, I have been left with a tiny amount of memory and have not seen the video in photo roll. Even after 3 days.

I don't know if I need to reset the phone or just turn it off then on again. This is not the first time this has happened, but somehow it resolved itself after weeks of dealing with a small amount of memory.
