Why can't I log into Facebook?

Why can't I log into Facebook?
I mean on my iPhone 5. I can log into it on safari or on the app, but everytime I open the Facebook app it has a pop-up telling me to go to settings and log in- which is the problem. when I do go to settings and scroll down, it won't let me click on Facebook OR twitter, so I can't log in to either of them except for apps and safari. the letters spelling out fb/twitter are gray instead of black, so anyone would be able to tell I can't click it. I have been needing to update my phone for a while so if that's the problem just say so. I want to log into Facebook for the other apps I use. thank you!

how about in desktop or other gadget? can you load YouTube? well if not try to reset your network in iPhone tap the settings> general > network if i'm not mistaken ^_^(i mean only the NETWORK because there is alot of reset in that) just locate it and reset after that connect again in the wifi.
