Yes.

Anything that takes your eyes off the road is a distraction. Your mom really shouldn't do that, and if you think you can stop her, please do and make the road a little safer for the rest of us.

Yes, tell her she is in a risk of getting off task while driving. One day she can hit another object and can get injured
