Do people use a string of hashtags on Facebook because they are too lazy to form coherent sentences?

Instead of writing "an amazing performance during halftime by Beyonce at the Superbowl", they can just write #superbowl #beyonce #halftimeshow #amazing.
" or they are using one of the many fusion products that put posts on Facebook and Twitter simultaneously." I would rather have the reason be this, but most of the people I know that use a barrage of hashtags don't connected their Twitter accounts to their Facebook. Ads |

I don't think it's so much that as an attempt to seem trendy, or they are using one of the many fusion products that put posts on Facebook and Twitter simultaneously.
It could also be an attempt to morph the language into something akin to that spoken by the alien culture in the Star Trek: The Next Generation Episode 'Darmok'. #TimbaAtRest Ads |
