I need privacy!?????

Ok so, my parents want to go into my instagram account just make sure I'm safe and making right choices and everything...but I believe I need my own privacy! Honestly I have nothing to hide from them...but it's just awkward and weird...what do I tell them to convince them they should trust me and and know I need my own privacy...?

I am guessing that you are a teen, so here it is from a father of 27 years. Trust and privacy is something you build with parents. Open everything up, and let them look. Once they build trust with you, they will automatically give you the privacy you seek. But it is a trust issue, and it takes time. This will not happen in a week, or even a month, but it will happen, based on YOUR performance and ability to keep it clean and decent.
