Which laptop is better?

Hello, so within my budget of $700-$750, I found these two HP laptops.

ENVY 14.5" Beats Edition

Pavilion 15.6"

I find that the Pavilion is lighter, but has a worse video card than the ENVY, which is a little heavier but has a better video card/look. However, I hear that the ENVY's battery life is not up to par compared to the machine overall.

I was wondering, as a new college student who enjoys music, social media websites, streaming videos, occasional gaming and movies, and most importantly, work, which laptop would be the best?

The Pavilion - Larger Screen for better movie viewing, the battery, RAM & CPU are fit for low-medium level gaming.
When it comes to work, listening to music & social networking sites/surfing the web, they'll both do the job nicely. The pavilion has much better battery life.
Overall, they'll both do they job fine, but the Pavilion has the edge just a tad
