should i delete this friend on facebook?
I have this friend which we use to be quite close and then we were'nt anymore, just because we drifted apart.however, we are both part of a group of friends and we eat lunch together everyday. I use to joke about her but realised she gets offended by it, so i stopped. i sincerely apologise during prom and gave her a hug and on top of that i made an effort to invite her out for dinner occasionally and i genuinely like her as a friend. what im frustrated bout is that she LOVES to post lovey dovey friendship statuses about how awesome our group of friends are and how much she misses them and tags ALL of them except for me. This makes me feel so frustrated and i feel like this is like a personal attack towards me. shes done it a few times already, and i get affected by it emotionally. I really wanna delete her on facebook because it makes me feel bad about myself. But isit too pathetic for me to delete her just like that? Thanks

That was probably one of the saddest things I've ever heard.... Not because that story itself but because you are getting all worked up that she didn't tag you on a stupid picture on Facebook. I'm sorry but you need to grab your head out your computer and watch whats happening around you. I'll give it to you straight, it's pathetic to get worked up about this.

I agree with the other dude, sorry.
Boo hoo, someone didn't tag you on Facebook. Go tell your mum about it. Go upto her in real life and tell her to piss off. |

In my opinion, there could be many reasons to take on this situation. However, you were trying to be nice to her, and you did apologize to her.
I would say that you should be the bigger person, and keep her on your facebook page. Just for the fact that you are showing her that this doesn't hurt you (even though it obviously does). If she doesn't wanna accept your apology, that is her choice, but she's not worth unfriending, because she's gonna see you as a chicken, which you're not. |
