So..there is a guy, and we chat on Facebook, we don't know each other, but he lives in another country which is way far. So, the problem is he asked me do i believe in long distant relationships and i said no, and he likes me now, he doesn't even know me. The question is do i need to continue chatting with him? and if you were on my place, would you chat with him? Please, answer me it's important.

So if I didn't have any feelings for him I would still chat with him but let him know you aren't wanting to be in a relationship but more of a friendship (basically putting him in the friend zone). You can always just stop chatting with him if he does start to get annoying and ask you about the relationship thing.
