I accidentally friend requested my boyfriend's exgirlfriend on facebook, how can I get rid of it??!!?
This sounds really stupid, but I was looking at my bf's ex-girlfriend's facebook profile. I am not a crazy jealous girl or anything, but I have heard a lot about this girl and how she was totally crazy and treated my boyfriend really badly.
I have heard bad things about her from all our mutual friends and I admit I was just really curious about her. I was scrolling down her page and then the page froze for a minute while I was scrolling, and then it said "Friend request sent". I automatically freaked out and cancelled the request, but I was wondering if she can still see that I tried to friend request her. Does anyone know if facebook has made it possible to cancel a friend request without the receiver seeing it? I am really embarrassed *^^* Sorry just to clarify, I cancelled the request as soon as I saw that I had accidentally requested her, but I was wondering if she will still get an email informing her I sent a friend request?? ![]() Ads |

I believe you cant but you can wait for her to accept it and you unfirend her afterqards. If she declines then no problem.

If you cancelled it, she won't see it unless she was on when you sent it.

Depends on what device u use:
If u use a phone u have to go to her profile and right next to the " chat button" below her profile pic to the left it should say" request sent" all u have to do is click on that and it should say " get notifications " and below that Should say cancel request If using computer I believe same thing applies |

if u have canceled it then it is okay but if she was online that time she probably would've seen it but it would disappear right after u cancel but if she wasn't online, same it would disappear without her seeing it and be removed from anything that she received about it
