How does this NOT contravene the Facebook guidelines?
Unfortunately the other day I stumbled across an incredibly offensive Facebook page full of racial slurs, offensive photos and brutish racist morons discussing why the UK would be better off without any racial minorities.
I reported a particularly offensive photo the user had as his profile picture, expecting it to be removed without any fuss whatsoever, only to receive a message a few days later saying it does not break any rules. I've uploaded screenshots to show you what I mean. The offending photo: http://oi43.tinypic.com/24bsr5z.jpg Facebook's response: http://oi44.tinypic.com/70hxxz.jpg Don't get me wrong, I DO have a sense of humour but I know full well any decent, educated individual would find that image incredibly offensive and it most certainly should not be tolerated. What is Facebook thinking? Ads |

Here is facebook's community standards guidelines, which are listed below. That image cleary does break facebook's guidelines as stated here:
" We do not permit individuals or groups to attack others based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or medical condition. " I suggest you report it again, and instead reference their page and quote their own text. Ads |
