What is it with cell phones and Texting/Twitter?

I actually dislike all the computer-y stuff. I'm being a big hypocrite too because I'm on the computer 24/7, have a MySpace, a phone, and a Twitter.

I like Twitter because it's a faster way to connect with my friends. We don't really have to have convos at all. Same with texting. If they text you and you don't want to reply, you could just read it and not reply. It's not the same with a phone call. You have to talk and talk and talk. I'm a horrible talker and better at texting, even though I really don't like it all. lol.

Honestly I think there are a lot of reasons why people like texting/twitter and other related things. One reason is because it is fast, convient, and easier than calling. Also many people are more confortable texting than talking over the phone because they have more time to thhink about what they will say, if they want to quickly end a conversation they can easily, and so on. Some people like texting because it can be done quickly and quietly. Also many times texting/twitter/so on is the only way to get ahold of some1. Many people now are not comfortable talking to someone directly so instead they stay in their comfort zone and text. I personally love texting but i dont texting someone right beside me. that doesnt makee sense unless you want to talk about something secretly without others hearing.

I know! Phones were originally designed for talking, but now cell phones are like computers, with the iPhone and such. I think it is a waste of time spending all day on Twitter on your phone, who really cares what you're doing every minute of your life?

I'm a teen, and I TALK on my phone, I don't even get on the Web with it. (Of course I do with my home PC.)

I'm not gonna get my head filled with garbage with overrated nonsense, I've better and more important things to do.
