Why do Republicans ignore racism and never denounce it when it's within their party?

Care to provide an example? If you can't or won't then you have no point.

Nice list of examples. It shows just how reality-based your claim is.

Shall we talk about how Democrats accepted KKK Senator Byrd using the n-word?

Or about how the Republicans denounced and repudiated ex-Democrat David Duke after he changed parties and won election as a Republican from a district in Louisiana?

I guess you just suffer a form of derangement where you see all kinds of non-existent racism. You imagine all kinds of "code words" and "dog whistles" because you are obsessed with race and skin color, and cannot fathom that conservatives and Republicans don't actually care much about race or skin color - we care about character, integrity and honesty.

This is the same with every party and spectrum, Republican AND Democrat. If another party does something, the opposed party is always the first to point it out, but when THEY do it, they'll always disregard it. It's natural for any party to be hypocritical.

The Southern Strategy is still at work and they can't disrupt that process. In fact they have to be "Spectacularly Disingenuous" on almost all their issues.

The amount of stealth to remain a Republican is becoming unbearable for both parties. Republican voters and their elected officials seem to be required to be disingenuous on most issues. They’re against women’s rights, unions, ending wars, social security, welfare, the ACA, abortions and much more that they really don’t and can’t speak openly about. Also the things they are for they are locked into secretly supporting like Trickle Down, income inequality, corporate welfare, the Bush doctrine shutting down the government and others. Republicans have polished the Southern Strategy so well that it shapes how they now deal with almost their entire agenda.
They close abortion clinics by placing impossible restrictions upon them. They have required the Postal Service to fund pensions out to 70 years in hopes to topple it into forced privatization. They call corporations “job creators” (although they really aren’t making very many) thus rationalizing their welfare at the taxpayer’s expense. Hardly anything is confronted head on openly and honestly. You can’t have a debate with them if they deny what they are doing.
But then go to any political blog and there you see it bare boned and blunt and most of it is not concerned with the common good. The racism and hatred boils over and every issue is reduced to defining others as their hated enemy.

Such as?

If Sean Hannity said something even REMOTELY racist, it'd be national headlines.
If Bill Maher or Joe Biden said something UNQUESTIONABLY racist, the mainstream media wouldn't bat an eye.

When all you see is empty accusations of racism and NEVER see substantial examples, will you EVER stop and ask yourself why?!!

For all the morons who asked for examples, you are simply proving the askers point by denying the existence of racism.

if just one conservative answered this post by saying, "yes we do have an abysmal track record of racism, and here are some examples..." And then apologize... That would have been an answer. But you idiots just say, "nope, no racism here. in fact, it's the democrats who are the racists! Zzzing!!!"

Yeah, good comeback as usual, republicans. The typical "I know you are but what am I?" response.

how about the whole strategy of gerrymandering districts and disenfranchising black voters???

by doing this, the gop essentially admits that they cannot win elections based on the merits of their arguments, and so they must cheat by playing to the most sickening racial prejudices still ingrained in their party's DNA.

But like you fools said... No examples...

Back at ya, bud. Zimmerman, half caucasian, half hispanic, kills a black kid under circumstances that may potentially be self-defense. Sharpton and the NAACP crew come out in force crying hate crime, and black kids start threatening revenge murders. A white college baseball player gets brutally murdered while riding his bike by three black kids, and the media is silent.

The Democratic elite live in multi-million dollar homes, hire minority "help," and don't pay social security or medicare withholding, leaving the employees high and dry. They tell minorities they aren't good enough to get a job, go to college, build a successful business, or compete in the marketplace without special government assistance, even though the rates of minority literacy, higher education, and business ownership were higher under Jim Crow's institutionalized racism that in today's sterilized PC political environment. Democratic pundits and talk show hosts rail on a Romney for adopting a black kid, insult people for being Jewish, and use phrases like "Uncle Tom" on black members of the Republican party. So tell me, Tony, where is the Democratic party's outcry over THEIR overt and unabashed racism?

Plenty of Republicans, particularly in the South, have prejudices. I see it every day and its part of why I'm no longer affiliated with it. But seriously, when Alec Baldwin rails on a gay man who pissed him off and uses homophobic slurs, nothing at all is done about it. Had any Republican done the same, they would be well and truly crucified in the media. None of this matters, though, because Tony's a troll with partisan blinders permanently screwed onto his head. He calls out Republicans constantly for their shortcomings but can't recognize the hypocrisy with which he surrounds himself every time he posts a "question" on here.
