Deactivated Facebook accounts still popping up?

Hey can deactivated Facebook accounts still appear under the "people you may know" section? One of my friends can't be found through the search engine but they appeared in that section. I later looked them up after seeing them (and adding them) there thinking it was reactivated but they didn't pop up in the search.

Deactivating a facebook account does not remove it from friend lists. It will hide it, but "deactivate" does not mean the same thing as "delete."

deactivated accounts take 3 months to deactivate n in that period it shouldnt be used or else it will reactivate. Most probably ur friends account has been deactivated only few days ago so it shows up . dont worry it is no more on facebook until ur friend rejoins. It will be out of ur list sooner or later. The problem is arisingas the username dont easily get off the list of facebook after deactivation until they need more space n that not a problem with fb . So stop looking ...
