Good morning from Australia and another hot one it promises to be. The skies this day, like yesterday is filled with smoke. Not a day for being outside, so I am stuck inside again and hating it. There are fires right across the state I live in. Luckily.. touch wood.. not in our particular area. But there are so many fires in Victoria that the smoke is visible for miles and miles. Guess i'll find plenty to do.. Housework, cooking, finish of a few paintings... and be on here off and on. So this brings me to YES.. it is becoming a social site and is not such a bad thing. We are social beings and for YA answers not to allow communication other than what we are supposed to be talking about.. i don't want my freedom of speech taken away from me. Some on here would prefer we stick to topic, like YA asks us to do, but what is wrong with being social and making friends i ask? At least Facebook, i can control who i talk to and not be harassed by unsavoury people. I am not attacked for my freedom of speech and i get to talk freely to loved ones and friends without the silliness of being rated, which only creates competition and sets one against another. I really enjoy the concept of great discussions and sharing our minds on YA, but if there was a site that did not have all the nonsense of TDing, TUing, starring etc, i would leave here. It makes it very childish and encourages trolls and hatred to flourish in the name of some "prize" of numbers... WHO cares how many points you have. What do people think they achieve by having the most points??? I don't get it.. I have met some really beautiful souls through this site.. i have learned much.. and i hope i have perhaps even made some people think about how they treat each other in this world we all share. Maybe even i made some inkling of a difference to someone's life.... No matter what effect i have had, either way.. my experience on here has been worth it.. I met you dear (((((((((Breezey)))))))))) and other ((((((Dear)))))))) friends. I will never forget the good times and i choose to remember only them. The bad is just like "real" life.. There will always be people who try to hurt you through their own insecurities.. Oh well... They are NOT what i will keep in my heart.
All the (((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))) Squishy or whatever.. I will cherish them as long as i live. xxx

Too social?.... I am human.. and proud of it. (-:
