Why would someone make up these lies?

Guy answering: "Fiance dated right before your wedding" that makes him your husband now? She is jealous. If she can't have him she doesn't want you to have him either. Of course he didn't bring her up. Who would admit to dating a nut job like that. And looking back, would that have been what you wanted to hear at that time in your relationship. The fact he showed you the emails and you can see how unstable she is should be good enough. For the sake of your marriage you should file that info in the closed file. You two should move forward. Not everyone has a pristine past and life is not as neat and tidy as we wish. Don't color your relationship through suspicious eyes. At this point take him at his word. Is it possible he can cheat? Sure but if you are a good match and compatible he would be stupid to throw away a good thing like you. Do your best to put it in the past and build a trusting life together.

First of all write her back. Tell her unless she can send you factual proof then to stop writing you because you are happy. Some women are crazy but some men are liars also!

I have personal experience with a woman like this, namely my ex. I broke up with her when I discovered she was having a full on affair. She became paranoid and spread rumors everywhere about me which took a long time to fix. The problem was that she suffered from OCPD or Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder which caused her to become obsessed with harming me.

I believe this woman who's causing your problems may have such a disorder because what you've described goes way beyond what would normally be expected from a jealous or jilted woman.

Without proof, it's all hearsay and I suggest you chat with your husband and let him explain exactly what happened (which I believe he has already) and leave it at that. That's as close to the truth as you'll ever get because the woman is likely a compulsive liar like my ex.

The rest of it is all innuendo and spiteful comments designed to destroy your marriage.

What I suggest you do is speak with a solicitor and ask him to send her a letter advising you will sue her for harassment and whatever else he can think of. She needs something official that will scare the pants off her and make her see reason.
