Myspace vs. Facebook?

Facebook is definitely safer because only those in your network are able to view your profile. For example, those in the same college or high school as you are.... Those who are not part of your network MUST request to be your friend and get approved before they can see your profile or any photos.

On top of everything else, Myspace has a lot of problems with "phishing" which is just another word for spamming. Hackers lead you to believe that MySpace is asking you for your e-mail and password again to log on again, randomly, and hackers can get all your information and pretend they are you while sending out advertisements including PORN! Facebook does not have this problem at all! What makes this such a bad thing about MySpace is that the site Developers (TOM and CHRIS) know exactly what the problem is but have yet to come up with a solution. Don't get me wrong, MySpace is fun but its definitely not as safe as Facebook.

REMEMBER, with any social networking site, BE CAREFUL of the information you give out!
