Question to Republicans. How come an anti-American like Obama was able to beat a Pro-American Romney?

the mentality of the candidates and their parties approach to solving problems and how they deal with the reality of a long campaign.

republicans are stunned that they lost - they are stunned because they dominate the media, particularly the news media.
this started more than 20 years ago when they understood that radio was critical, so that even in progressive 'blue' cities such as boston, you can get all manner of conservative talk radio and literally no liberal counterpart.

this is what republicans do well - business/industrial dominance.

sadly for them, the world has moved beyond listening to their radios in their car, and we all watch the daily show or the colbert report over fox news and more importantly, stream any radio station they want, regardless of the media domination of conservative talk radio.

no liberal radio is boston? guess what - in spite of all of the business manipulations that created this reality - IT NO LONGER MATTERS. here at my desk i can stream almost any radio station in the entire nation.

we all see lots of fox news - as 'jokes' presented on other social media. this totally corrupts and destroys what has, for a generation, the republicans primary strength.

more people are paying attention to facebook, youtube and other social media - than just about anything else.

the dems, and particularly obama, understand this.
the liberal message in these forums is smooth, polished, thoughtful and most important - very funny at times.

bottom line - obama's campaign totally outclassed the republican juggernaut completely.

obama's win over romney was more complete than any election in the past 40+ years.

and if the republicans don't wake up to this REALITY they will gradually lose all influence and cease to be a viable national party.
