Why are people attracted to me?

There is no way of writing this without sounding like I'm completely full of myself, so here it goes...

I am a naturally attractive person, I know that (I've modelled for various companies, I'm not just someone who thinks I'm absolutely stunning when I'm not). I always present myself well, even if I'm just going to the grocery store. The thing is despite my good looks, my personality is terrible. I'm socially awkward and would rather spend time by myself than with people (on the other hand I love to party, but the idea of meeting new people excites me so I think that's why). I'm a complete introvert.

I was wondering, if that's the case why are people still attracted to me? I'm not just talking sexually. In a group situation, when I meet someone new they always hang around me and talk to me even though usually I make no effort to return these actions. I know they're trying to be nice, but the amount of persistence is a bit more than someone being friendly.

At school, I'm friendly to everyone but don't talk to a lot of them on a daily bases. Yet on facebook if I upload a picture or something it gets a million likes from school people I rarely talk to, and a heap of people saying "you're so gorgeous" etc. It's not like everyone does this on everyones photos, this usually is only done to the photos of people with a hundred friends - that's not me.

I feel like they feel sorry for me or something, and that's why.


I don't get it! To me, just because I might be pleasing to the eye doesn't seem like a real reason as to why I'm so "popular". It's been bugging me for a while now.
To the bra size comment: I go to an all girls school, I don't think 90% of the people in my year are lesbians.
