Part of what keepsdownloading a program from the internet slow is your broadband speed, it can only download as fast as your connection is. I think you would be better off with a pc than a laptop. They are cheaper, easier to upgrade if it does eventually slow down and generally better. If you think you are up to it you could even try building one, and if you don't want to try watching a tutorial because it really isn't as bad as it seems! You can get parts cheap at newegg.com in america but anywhere else and your amazon should be just fine.
If you do decide to build one I would recommend this for a incredibly fast relatively cheap processor. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6819113284 This may seem like alot of money but it would definitely be the most expensive part of your pc! a tutorial for building a pc : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsyxM_j3...e=youtu.be although this a gaming rig you could just leave out the graphics card since for what you are building you wouldn't need one or at least not a expensive one like the one in the tutorial Even though I have said alot I don't actually have a pc or laptop to recommend in the end so, before you do anything crazy wait for some other answers.
