See what your public IP from the WiFi is compared to the Ethernet by going to http://www.ipchicken.com when connected. I am not sure what subnets they share but if they are different, you will get a different public IP address. It could be that your IP has been blacklisted on their end for some reason.
I would check to see if the IP is different from Ethernet to WIFI. Can you also get to other sites but not that one? A proxy is handling your request for you so if that works but not without it, either your gateway/firewall is blocking the connection or theirs is. Could be DNS too but traceroute seems to resolve it. See if you can resolve it by opening cmd prompt and typing nslookup inside.pacific.edu. That sounds like an internal portal though that would require a VPN. Just a thought. |
