Yeah, of course. It'd be something using 802.11a/b/g and would be accessible only if there is an access point nearby. Since you have a desktop PC, you would need either a wired internet connection and an access point or ability to use someone else's, as well as a USB or PCI wireless card.

You're not going to get anything else for free.
