Do you agree/disagree with candidates who have expressed willingness to privatize Social Security?

Disagree. All you have to do is look at what you lost on your 4O1K when the market crashed and ask yourself what would happened if that was my Social Security?

The key word is SECURITY not investment, not profit or portfolio but Security. If you go back and look at why it was created and why it was expanded over the years it's because so many people hit hard times and lose everything. This is meant to be that if you worked your whole life, you paid your taxes so will have some kind of SECURITY that when you get old you will have some money to by food ( it may be cat food but its something)

I have seen way to many programs go public only for it to cost way to much money and the security aspects quickly get replaced by the needs to make a profit.
