Why is Obama letting the stock market drop below 8,000? Why doesn't he fix the economy?

Because he insists on making speeches with content of DOOM AND GLOOM for our economy...The stock market is a barometer of what people are feeling. If there is no confidence on our government; the economy, the banks; the market will reflect it...so Obama is not the Messiah everyone thinks he is...He is trying to get a stimulus passed which will do absolutely nothing. Why? Because, the confidence is gone...He has to restore our confidence in government...don't make speeches that give the impression that our government is going to hell in a handbasket and government is the only way out...It isn't...It will be the small businessman, the little guy; that restores this nation to its greatness...I have faith in the American people and I think we will come out of this only if government stays out of the way..but Obama believes in big government, so I doubt that we will come out of this any time soon.
