facebook or myspace???!?

Facebook.

The problem with MySpace is mostly in design. The first problem is that people can skin their MySpace page to look however they'd like (within certain limits) and most people pick the worst combination of background and foreground colors. You'll get a seizure surfing around MySpace. Also, the ads are VERY intrusive, spam is much worse on MySpace, and what makes MySpace users think I want to start listening to their song choice the second their page loads? Don't cram your music tastes down my throat.

The ONLY arguements I ever hear against FaceBook is that you can't customize your page with some god-awful theme/skin like you can on FaceBook and you can't stream music from your FaceBook profile. Personally, those are the very reasons why FaceBook is better.

I don't get as many stalkerish messages from random guys that I don't know on Facebook.
There's not as much spam on Facebook.
And there is not as much skanky behavior.

Facebook; I've had both and out of the two, I can say that Facebook remains a good medium for sending and recieving mail to your friends, without recieving alot of spam or viruses in the process.

I only marginally prefer Myspace because I have more control over it, can choose to listen to music, hide my online now & play around, looking at some of the cr*p other people do with their profiles! Plus I can bar bands, people and all the others if I dont want spam.

Facebook is fun to a certain extent but i am getting sick of all the 'applications' you can have and the way my movements are shown to other people, i have to hide everything, its good for keeping in touch with people you genuinely know but I've had more fun and more contacts with my networking thru myspace.

Personally i like facebook. It's simple to use and with the new App system it is alot more fun to use.

Myspace all the way. its so much better, you can do stuff with your profile, so its not like everyone else's, its easier to find people on there, and you can do WAY more stuff than on facebook. I don't even know how to view friend requests from anywhere other than a link in an email for facebook... facebook has police monitoring it. privacy? not really. safe? i guess... but without a doubt. myspace will always be better!
