What's the best way to bid a spiritual farewell to people you've known for eight years?

That's too bad ((Meds))) you will be sorely missed.

I'm not sure what will happen to me. I've tried the facebook thing for the last few days but it doesn't set up like the Q&A format this place does. To be honest I'm not inspired to be there. As for the final outcome of Y/A answers, I'm not sure I'll survive the format change either. I'm certainly not big on change and the purple scourge presents much of it. I share many of the same feelings you do about the demise of many endearing users and I have been getting very little satisfaction being here of late. I may very well hang up the skates with you this time. I have been considering enrolling to earn an online degree in hopes of becoming ((gasp)) A Catholic Deacon! Probably not a huge shock to most people familiar with me here. Anyway if this is the end, my friend... I'd like to think that I'm a little better off for having spent so many hours on here over the last few years and coming to know you has been just one of the pleasures this quirky place has provided.

I'm not sure what else can be said except; "So long and thanks for the fish"

Peace; DD

It will break my heart to lose you.
Your answers were always the best.
(((Meds)))

I've been keeping the green screen by going to Tools -- Compatibility View and adding the site, but I bet that won't work forever.
I can't stand the new format and I'm thinking of leaving if they make it universal.
What would this section be without all the old contributors? A ghost town.

I bookmarked your link -- I'm on Facebook too.

Big Hugssssahs… is the best way… I don't think of this as goodbye… just a fare thee well… until we meet again… happy trails. I keep you within! Always.

by the way, no thumbs down by me!
We are here for Meds.

Put simply, darling, I adore you. You are one of the reasons I stayed on here. This place will suck without you.

I never thought I'd live to see the day I'd say this, and I know you'll be so conflicted by it, but thank the IPU for Facebook.

And to make this appropriately R&Sish (if the IPU reference wasn't enough for more traditional theists), whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou posteth, I will post: thy people shall be my people, and thy polydeities shall be my polydeities.

I'm not desperate enough to give it up and go facebook, I don't like the new format, but I might get used to it, and who knows, improvements might be made to it, hope you reconsider.

I'm still green in Australia, not sure why.

oh, and I plan on getting travels with meds eventually, (paragraph issues and all) I've just been too busy and/or lazy to get going on my kindle.

Oh man...(((Meds)))

I wish, WISH, Yahoo had staff reading posts as to the new format for if they did Yahoo would realize the new format SUCKS (sorry) and people are dropping left, right, & center.

Granted, one or two features of the new format are cool (YouTube links) but the rest of it is BEAT.

You, my friend, always bring a smile to the face of everyone on this site.

Blessed to have known you.

Peace, Bill

Oh come on!
It aint that bad.

Suggestion; When I'm really burned out with it I just get on Sundays for my anti-sermon.
Think of the children!
Will you let them grow up without learning the ability to laugh at christians?

Yeah, right. Like you'll really be escaping the hellhole of no return.

Besides, you've only known me for 5 1/2 years, so you owe me 2.5 more.

But if you're serious, see you on that *cough* other *cough* social network. I actually do visit every now and then.

P.S. Why do all the clever, brilliant users always abandon us, while the shitheads seem to stick around forever?

P.P.S. You could always move to Cleveland. We still have the old format here. I'm currently posting this from Y!A Singapore. (See, who says you can't have the best of both worlds--Cleveland AND Singapore--and you were telling me heaven might not exist!)
