Help me understand Internet speeds?
At&t offers different internet speeds, 1.5 Mbps 3 Mbps 6Mbps etc.
What do those download speeds equal in KB/s. Ads |

1 MB = 1024 KB
Therefore 1.5 MB = 1536 KB 3 MB = 3072 KB 6 MB = 6144 KB Ads |

They have no direct bearing on download speeds. The connection needs a lot of bandwidth just to maintain itself. The more bandwidth you have the more it leaves free for the download. considerign most services can deliver 8 Mbps now, with common bandwidth of 20 Mbps, these are all quite slow. If you get 10 % of the lower bandwidth download speeds you would be lucky. On the higher ones you can get 75 %. But on a busy site their actual upstream speed will slow you down.
