Why host file option is not working for certain websites to be blocked?
I want to block some websites and have tried to do this by using host file method (C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc). Almost, all the websites, for what i inputted in the note pad (host file) were blocked. However, certain websites were not blocked, for instance, http://www.tamil.thehindu.com).
How these website can escape from this method. What I have to do to block these websites. Please, Help me.. Thanking you in advance for your kind help. # Copyright © 1993-2009 Microsoft Corp. # # This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows. # # This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names.
