2 laptops connect to 1 router?

The whole idea of a router is that your service only handles a single connection. A router can combine multiple computers into that one connection.

Sure,you can. Router will help you to create a wireless network,all the device with wifi connection can receive internet at the same time. You can try this virtual router software, My WIFI Router.It's free and wifi signal is pretty good.

Yeah, there are maybe some LAN ports on the back of the router, just connect the laptops to router with cables
