Your parents may not want you to have a facebook account. And they may have good reasons for that. Facebook is neutral: it is neither good or bad; so it is how you use facebook which makes it ok or a sin. One should not lie to ones parents, but I can't see that using facebook is all that harmful.

Generally parents are not monsters; they've been feeding and protecting you all this time. They have their reasons. They generally care about you, and love you deeply more than you could ever understand (until you have your own kids.)

Read good books instead. Study hard. Excel in your classes. Networking, even on Y!A, is not a productive use of your time, and will not lead to your becoming the powerful, free, talented adult you wish to become.

Network with the great minds instead. They will be found with ink on paper. Read good books. Get educated. Get job. Go out on your own. Then make your own rules. It's a simple step-by-step process.

Exodus 20:12 Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you. Honor means respect, look it up. Anyway you seem to know right from wrong. If you have accepted Christ as your Savior, ask for forgiveness and cut it out, you're not going to hell for that. The facebook is not a sin, the problem is disobedience and dishonor to your parents.
