Is it wrong to be in a relationship with someone but not adding them to your Facebook status?

Some people are just more reserved, and like to keep it private. Like for me, I have a ton of different people on FB, and they don't really need to know what my boyfriend's name is. If he just doesn't like to mention it at all, well that's fine too. Also, depending on your ages, his parents might be like mine and be overly protective or not allow dating. I know if I ever put something about my relationship on there (which I don't), then my family would want to know everything, because I'm the baby Anyways, this is turning into a life story of me, so I'll conclude: yes, it's fine. You don't need facebook to tell the world who you're with, it doesn't define you.

I understand how you feel. My I was with my previous boyfriend i didn't even add him as a friend, much less as putting him as my boyfriend. Me personally didn't see the point.Now after a while I decided to add him, because he got offended when he saw other people getting add and i didn't add him. Anyways, I don't and have never seem it as a problem if someone adds, or don't add their partner. Now, I can see where you are coming from, it mean a lot to you because this is the first time you changed your status, and your proud of the man that you are with. Now I am not saying that he is not proud of you being his woman but you have to understand and know your man. If he is the type of man that doesn't like his business out there then he is going to have a problem with it or more so don't see the point. Now about writing on the wall, I have never did the whole writing on the wall and if i did, I would say things like, ( I enjoyed spending the day with my boo) or Say this, this line works all the time..... Hey sweety just passing show some love, or something like that, then it wouldn't cause any problem between the both of you. The message on the wall would be innocent, cause everybody calls someone sweety, boo, hun, or whateva without meaning anything serious. Now, let me tell you this, and i'm not putting anything in your head but, if he has a problem with even that then something is up, cause if you write what I told you to write he shouldn't take that into offence. I am just saying. All you can do i talk to him woman to your man. Hope that my message was useful. Good Luck!!
