What is the difference between an Republican and a Democrat?
What are their different views and what do they stand for?

Once in Congress nothing. They pretend to have different platforms though to fool their party loyalists.

Republicans - fiscal conservatism, social conservatism, priority on the individual, deregulation
Democrats- fiscal liberalism, social liberalism, priority on equality/society, heavier regulation |

Republicans: Small government
Democrats: Big government that's the main difference, although the Republicans are getting more like Democrats as each year passes! |

Depends on which end of the Republican spectrum.
At one end you have originalist conservatives - about the farthest thing from a Democrat ever to walk the Earth. At the other end you have guys who basically ARE Democrats except they aren't classless pieces of sh!t so the DNC wouldn't let them in. |

Democrats are for more economic control (raising taxes), and less social control (pro choice, support same sex marriage), while the Republicans are for less economic control (supporting lower taxes), and more social control (not pro-choice, against same sex marriage).

A Republican will sell you the shirt off his back. A Democrat will give you the shirt off someone else's back.
