I used to have a Facebook but deleted it a little over a year ago. I was tired of everyone's drama on there and I do agree that there is no need to publicize what you are doing every minute of every day. I don't have a Facebook, Twitter, linkedin, MySpace (not that its popular anymore anyway), or tumblr.

I've never seen any media Station say that. In fact I don't think media really cares about social networking status Unless the story is about social networking

Only about 1/7 of the world population has a Facebook account, and I would imagine that most Twitter and LinkedIn users fall into that category. If anything, it's those of us who do use social networking sites who are weird.
