If you don't have a Facebook account, and you own a gun or have access to a firearm, in all likelihood you'll become a mass killer.

A friend of mine pointed this out to me too. Most of the modern mas killers have had social media accounts. The media has it backward. They think that the social media accounts are symbolic of the narcissism that leads one to see his actions as justified.

It's just the opposite. Mass shooters tend to be ideologically motivated and see social media as the best way to spread the ideologically pure message. Killers that are nihilistic and suicidal or anger motivated (without philosophical/ideological influences) will not likely have active facebook pages explaining their motives.
