Windows 8 wont install on my computer?

I just got windows 8 pro and i tried to install it on my dell studio 1558 laptop. Whenever it gets to the part where it checks the pc to see if its ready to install, it always stops and says something like windows cant tell if your pc is ready. Ive downloaded any updates on my computer but it still doesnt work. Please help!
