20 years old, still have severe acne on back?
through highschool i had acne all over, mostly on my forehead, neck, chin, chest, shoulders, back, etc. eventually it all slowly dissapeared. now i no longer have acne anywhere EXCEPT for my back. and on my back, it has gotten much worse, and i would classify it as severe. it is uncomfortable sitting in chairs or laying down a lot of the time. i get such large zits that they have to be popped, or even pop on their own, and when they do it is disgusting. they are like giant bubbles of blood and puss. i really dont know why this happens to me. i dont use any acne medication mostly because i cant afford it, but also its so damn hard to clean your own back...if anybody has seen a similar situation or has any ideas of what i should do it would be nice. ive been patiently waiting for this to dissapear like all my other acne did but im getting the feeling thats just not gonna happen.

Don't worry it will disappear after 50 years old.

Well. Im only 15 and I don't have any acne except on my face (little tiny one not even noticeable) but I would suggest maybe taking a hot warm bath In the tub and soak for a while may want to try that once every week. Also you could try getting one of those lofa's (misspelled) that you can scrub your back with. I'm pretty sure those could probably work out.

There are a lot of contributing factors to acne including diet, genetics and general hygiene. Eating a diet high in sugars and oils can exacerbate acne. Also, some people just naturally produce more oil through there pores, and this can cause problems if they are clogged. My advice is to eat less sugar and oils, use microderm abrasive scrubs on your back while showering and if that doesn't work, look into over the counter acne medications. They are cheap if you have health insurance. If you don't, look into contacting proactiv, I've heard stories of them sending some small kits to people for free if you post some stuff about their products on social media sites.
