If im logged into an app on a iphone does it use internet?

Yes, that's why when someone comments or likes your fb status or whatever, u get anotification. Even if you are not on the app atm. However it's a very mall amounts, just enough to notify you. If you receive lots of.notifications then obviously more internat would get used. By logging out, no internet is consumed.
