What's up with my facebook randomly liking pages on it's own?
Just happened, all of a sudden, this evening. I have had facebook for a few years, and it has never done this. Facebook just randomly liked some lawyer's facebook page in a city a few hours from where I live. I thought maybe I accidentally liked something, but than just now, I noticed on my news feed, a post from the old school rock band, Creedance Clearwater Revival. Why is facebook all of a sudden randomly liking pages? I know I'm not hacked because they wouldn't just randomly like these pages. I actually like the band CCR, but I did not like their page, which is coincidental. Why the random likes? I did not allow any random apps that could trigger this, so what's going on? Just happened tonight. What's weird is the fact that no one is getting spam messages from me, advertising something or saying check this out, just the random liking of pages.

maybe you gave permission to an app - check your apps and remove anything you dont recognize

maybe you used a proxy site, or just TRIED to use a proxy site, and when yo do that, you hand over your email and password to that website owner, who can then log in as you and like whatever pages they want to

maybe your computer has a trojan/virus/keylogger on it because you download things from torrent sites

have you tried changing your password?
