Not appearing on people's newsfeed on Facebook?
I'm friends with a bunch of people, and there are some I don't want knowing much about my activity. That means that I don't want to appear on certain people's newsfeeds about my statuses, who i befriend, the pictures I like, statuses I comment on, etc. How can I adjust that?
I can easily hide what I post. But if I friend someone and/or like a picture, I don't want people to know.

depending on the item, you can use the audience selector to decide who can see it

you can also set up custom lists to make it easier

http://abrax.us/Facebook/UsingLists.php

another option is the restricted list

if you are trying to hide your likes, then the restricted list is the only way to do that

Go to your privacy settings and set to custom - certain friends who can see my activity, also add some people to your restricted list. When you add a status you can share with certain people.

Go to yopur privacy settings and set to only me.
