I think the point of the post was about YOU looking at someone's stuff, not someone looking at what you put on your profile.

How uncomfortable would it be to know that the guy/girl you like or don't, or the person you added but don't really know anymore can see every time you look at their profile. I don't think I'd want to know everything everyone was looking at. It would make ME uncomfortable. "The guy I knew in sixth grade keeps looking at my birthday pictures over and over again." Yikes. Instead, I'd rather see 'last 3 visitors' to my photo album.

I don't know about "against the law" but Facebook would be idiots to scare people away from looking at profiles. It's kind of the point.

My bet's on fake.
