it says in the intro when you first get a facebook that there is not charge and there will never be a charge. the only way you can spend money on facebook as far as i know is if you spend money on the games to get stuff.

Never. On Facebook YOU are the product being sold, and you are being sold to advertisers. At least your info is, which is how Facebook makes money and why they get to keep anything and everything you post forever, meaning they can sell it long after you stop using Facebook and even long after you are dead. That's right, they make their billions off of the details of your life.

That is all rumors. Facebook states that it's a free social networking website, and will always be. Facebook is the king of social networking websites and does not have to charge for money.
Have a great day! Hope this helped! |

Facebook, won't charge anyone to use. If they did it would limited their customer based and limited the user on Facebook. Than people, will move to another Social Networking Site (maybe the new Google+), so i don't think Facebook, will charge the user. If they did charge to use Facebook, i for one, will not be using Facebook any-more (i don't think other will as well).
Facebook makes money from advertisements (or targeted advertisement) and when user need to pay is for Applications they use on Facebook. EDIT: Take a look at the Security Company "Sophos" article about it: http://nakedsecurity.sophos.com/2011/07/...l-network/ |
