How do you maintain dignity after a hurtful unfair breakup? Depressed and desperate...?

Well you have the upper hand and don't see that. I suggest you get off facebook or at least "de-friend" him so you don't get annoyed at pics he puts on there to upset you. Your only hurting yourself if you stay "connected".

The respect for him is gone. This is now the end due to no respect. People ask when do you know it's over? I say by my own experience in life (I'm 56) I have always found it over when I lose respect for the guy.

So knowing this you totally ignore him now. Make no more calls no more moves towards him. And DO NOT go back. You can't. If you do you then for sure look like a fool. good luck

Only a coward breaks up with a person over text. Apparently, he was no longer into the relationship, but he could have used a different and more compassionate approach.

He's not worth your time or crying over.... he's a wimp!!! Plain and simple.

Go through the motions of grief, and you will eventually come to acceptance. Hon, we have all been there, for sure! take care.
