Pertaining to Anthony Weiner, can you give a non-partisan answer to this question?

Good question. I'm not sure. But I think it's highly unlikely a congressman would send inappropriate pictures using his official twitter account that is followed by thousands of people, the media, etc. No one is that stupid.

I think it's still innocent until proven guilty, despite Git moo.

I'd say the person making an otherwise unsubstantiated CLAIM.... always has the burden to prove that claim.
On that same note... if ANY SINGLE PERSON who "claimed" to have seen an alien spacecraft could PROVE that they did... no one would question this anymore. Unfortunately.... those people are lunatics... and no one has ever been able to PROVE their claims. |

Unless there is a complaint there is no need to prove anything. The last thing we need is another Michael Jackson type subpoena to check the Congressman's "junk".

People at Twitter could look it up in 2 seconds and tell you where it came from, even if a proxy was used.
it's the bloggers obligation |

Weiner is a creep, so it's hard for me to be objective here... But I'll try.
It's a case of proving a negative... Like the old question, "When did you stop beating your wife?" IF... it is a set-up, the damage has already been done, Weiner's credibility has been seriously damaged, so he's going to have to do something to salvage what he can. Ultimately, Weiner will have to go through legal channels to prove his case. |

Proof that an account was hacked would be almost impossible. That being said Anthony Wiener has a Government Computer account. That account has a 128 bit code to access. He knows what computer security is. To me knowing this about government security and the standard to keep thing secure is important. I would have to say it is very unlikely that someone "Hacked" his account. Not impossible but highly unlikely

Chris Lee's shirtless photo on Twitter cost him his Congressional seat in NY, don't think Weiner would be that stupid. The blogger has to prove it.

Burden of proof doesn't matter here. This is the doing of patriotusa76 aka Dan Wolfe. Weiner has >45,000 followers on Twitter, and Wolfe is the only one who got this tweet from Weiner. Most obvious fraud ever.
