Does removing your "in a relationship" on facebook mean that the actual relationship is over?

Maybe, he could take it as that way and sleep around, and I would not blame him because I would think that the action of saying to everyone you know (via facebook) I am single, means it's over. Although he could be a hopeless moron and think it doesn't.

There is no set of laws derived from facebook, that define your actual relationship via published relationship status. In other words, it's saying to the public,"i'm single" but just because it says that doesnt mean it has to be true. Usually people don't base there actual life, off of there publicly displayed content, its usually the other way around. I can go on facebook and put that i'm gay, but that doesnt mean i am. The relationship is only over when one of you say it is, regardless of facebook.
