dont' worry, he's in boot. he's not gonna die there. i was in the Marine Corps, and it took over a month for my first letter to get home. they wouldnt give us any time to write home until we earned it. i called home once during my 3 month stay at MCRD san diego. it happens. DONT CHEAT, and dont listen to sly, hes a piece of shit. he is constantly supervised, so he has no time or place to cheat on you so if i just ruined your excuse then so be it. it will all be over before you know it.

Who ever this guy is that's saying he's going to leave you for a "female military girlfriend" is an idiot. Sweetie, if he says he loves you then you have to trust him. If you have a job, ask for more hours and work more. Hang out with your friends that are a POSITIVE influence on you and that you always have fun with. Don't surround yourself with negative people who can just bring you down and make you feel more upset. Exercise. And of coarse pray to God to keep you and him strong! But trust me, he is fine! And don't worry about him leaving you for some military girl. If he loves you the way he says he does, then he does! And they don't have time for romance when they are at boot camp anyways. I'm going through the same thing with my boyfriend. A lot of girls are! Keep your head up and remember that you will see him again one day! This isn't the end sweetie. Smile Only the beginning!

This is actually an answer that I posted for another question exactly like yours:

It's the worst feeling in the world when all you want to do is see/hear/touch/kiss your man, but you can't because Uncle Sam has him!!! My hubby is at AIT(advanced individual training), when he started BCT(basic combat training) we were just bf/gf, and when I went to his BCT graduation- We got married!! Now I'm not saying that you should marry the man, but I am saying that I feel your pain and it is fresh in my memory!!! His AIT isn't going to be over for another 5 months!!! When he was at BCT, it was the worst because I never knew when he was going to call or when I was going to get a letter! I kept myself occupied by making a giant scrapbook of us together, picking up shifts at work, and joining his BCT Facebook page and spoke with many other gf's, fiance's, wives, mothers, and other family of SIT's(soldier in training). I think that was what helped me the most, being able to talk to others who were going through it all at the same time, and being able to countdown the days to graduation! I actually STILL talk to a lot of the people I made friends with off the FB page! Since my hubby has been to AIT(only 36 hours after we got married), I have started ANOTHER scrapbook, but also a journal. I've never been the one to keep a diary(in fear of siblings finding out my secrets!) but I did start writing a list of my fears, endless thoughts racing through my head, and random song lyrics that made me happy/sad/miss him. AIT is definitely waaaaaaaaay better then BCT though, because they have more privileges and usually have their phones.

I hope this helped some? If you need someone to reach out to, I'm here for ya!! Military girls stick together!!!

****On another note; WRITE HIM EVERYDAY!!!!!! You have no idea how much a letter at every mail call helps him get through what he's doing!!! You can even write him multiple times a day... it'll help you and him at the same time... **********
