I honestly don't care about Valentines Day. And not because I'm a feminist or because I don't have a boyfriend, or I'm one of those people that says it's a money sucking, corporate holiday. I like the candy though! I just find the whole thing unnecessary.

For me it's one of those holidays that are kind of dismissible as being really big and important. I treat it the same way I treat St. Patrick's Day; I'm indifferent towards it

Well for me personally this year im kinda excited cause i have a "date" i guess you could say, but i totally know where you are coming from! either everyone is really lovey-dovey and stuff or they are telling people it is ok to be single. i guess it just depends on what is going on in your life at the time. Instead of thinking of it as a romantic kind of love, just think of it as friendship or a positive feeling. think of things you love about yourself or others.
BQ: no, but I've always kinda wanted an older (and nicer!) brother BQ: navy |

It's not my absolute favorite holiday, but I do like it. In high school, my friends and I would all bring candy for each other. No one was left out. Last year we went to a pizza parlor to celebrate because they were selling heart-shaped pizzas! It is a little annoying sometimes to see girls carrying around roses and huge stuffed animals given to them by boyfriends, but I don't really care. Also, Valentine's Day is my half birthday, and it's the closest I'll come to celebrating my birthday at school. There's no better way to celebrate 6 months than with candy!
BQ: No. BQ: Blue |

I'm indifferent towards Valentine's Day. The past few years, I would resent all the couples holding hands and carrying around boxes of chocolates but to be honest, I could care less. I know that I'd rather wait and hold out for a great guy, even if he doesn't buy me candy on February 14th. I believe the concept of being alone on V Day should be portrayed more often, and in a positive light. I mean, how are younger kids supposed to feel when they see their single parents alone? How does a surviving grandparent feel? Valentine's Day is wonderful for lovers, but it's slightly insensitive by shunning that being single can be a beautiful thing.
BQ: Nope. I'm the oldest. BQ: Black/gray with leaves. |

Well I had a boyfriend last valentines and I liked it. Everyone was in a good mood, except for my friend who kept complaining about being forever alone.

Dude, I don't even know what day that is! It's really not that important to me. I can do without chocolates, but flowers are nice. I'd rather do the giving than the receiving though.
BQ: I'm the oldest, so nope. BQ: It is a light blue. |
